Urban Living ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Urban Living mobile application and website.

By using our platform, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

2.1 Information you provide directly:

• Account information: Phone number used for OTP authentication.
• Profile information: Your name as entered in the app.
• Property listings: Building name, address, photos, rent, amenities, floor details, and contact information you choose to publish.

2.2 Information collected automatically:

• Impression data: When a public user visits a listing page via a QR code or web link, we record an anonymous impression count (total views and QR scans). No personal data about the visitor is collected.
• Usage data: Standard Firebase analytics data such as app usage patterns and crash reports.

• To create and manage your account via phone number authentication.
• To display your property listings to prospective tenants.
• To provide you with analytics on your listing performance (views and QR scans).
• To generate QR poster PDFs containing your listing information.
• To improve our platform and fix technical issues.

Urban Living is built on Google Firebase infrastructure. Your data is stored and processed using the following Firebase services:

• Firebase Authentication: Manages phone number login and OTP verification.
• Cloud Firestore: Stores property listings, user profiles, and impression counts.
• Firebase Storage: Stores property photos you upload.
• Firebase Hosting: Serves the public listing web pages.

Firebase is operated by Google LLC. Data may be processed on servers outside India. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Your publicly listed property information (building name, address, photos, rent, amenities, contact details) is visible to anyone who accesses your listing URL or scans your QR code. Only publish information you are comfortable sharing publicly.

• Your account and listing data is retained as long as your account is active.
• If you delete a listing, it is removed from public view immediately.
• Impression counts are stored indefinitely as aggregate statistics.
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us through the app.

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Firebase Authentication with OTP (one-time password) verification.
• Firestore Security Rules ensuring users can only access and modify their own data.
• HTTPS encryption for all data in transit.

However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Urban Living is not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data via your profile and listing settings in the app.
• Delete your account and associated data by contacting us through the app.
• Withdraw consent for data processing (which will result in account termination).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
